Frequently asked questions
Short answers to what we hear most. Still stuck? Every order page links straight to the provider handling your swap.
How does CoinSwap.now work?
We compare live rates from multiple exchange providers — instant-exchange services and on-chain DEX routes — and let you swap at the best one. The swap itself is executed by the provider you pick; CoinSwap.now routes your order and tracks it until the coins land in your wallet.
Do you hold my funds?
No. CoinSwap.now is non-custodial: coins move from your wallet to the chosen provider and on to your payout address. We never take possession of your assets and cannot move, freeze, or recover them.
Do I need an account?
No account, no sign-up, no KYC to get a quote. All you need is a payout address for the coin you want to receive. Keep your order ID — it is the only way to look a swap up later.
Why is the amount I receive different from the quote?
Float-rate orders follow the market between the moment you get the quote and the moment your deposit confirms, so the final amount can drift slightly either way. If you want the exact amount shown, choose a fixed-rate quote — providers that support it lock the rate for a limited window.
How long does a swap take?
Most swaps finish in 5–30 minutes. The biggest factors are network confirmation times for your deposit (Bitcoin is slower than Tron or Solana) and congestion on the payout network. Each quote shows the provider's own ETA.
What are the fees?
Every quote you see is final: it already includes the provider's exchange fee, our aggregation margin, and estimated network costs for the payout. There are no extra charges on top of the displayed amount — the only thing you pay separately is the network fee of your own deposit transaction.
My funds are on hold for a risk or KYC check. What do I do?
Occasionally a provider's compliance system flags a deposit and holds it until identity verification. The funds are held by that provider — never by CoinSwap.now — and only they can release them. Open your order page: when a hold happens it shows the responsible provider and a direct link to their support desk. Contact them with your order ID and the requested documents; after verification the swap continues, or the deposit is returned to your refund address.
I sent the wrong amount, or my order expired. What now?
Deposits that arrive late, under the minimum, or after a fixed-rate window closed are not lost — the provider either recalculates the swap at the current rate or refunds the deposit. If your order shows expired or failed, contact the provider through the support link on your order page, quoting your order ID and the deposit transaction hash.
